Hey There Delilah - the remix!
Danse DaiMons has done it, what others strive hard for years, but can hardly achieve it. He is the new craze in the US Entertainment Industry. Naturally and immensely talented, he has swept the nation off its feet with his official remix of The Plain White T's “Hey There Delilah”.
Born in the 1980s in the city of Brooklyn in New York, he grew up to an apt choice for the “Generation X”. Dans has proved his versatility in every sphere of his life. Starting right from being a D1 athlete, to a college graduate and now an international starlet in the realm of entertainment, he has proved it all. Versatility is his strongest attribute and he believes that he can pretty much rap over anything. Each of his songs exudes his impeccable ability to mingle lyrics and melody and create something very unique.
No doubt, the American music industry is thriving with loads of new talents, but it is DaiMons's competitive edge, which have set him apart from the rest. Referred to as “Ladies Best Friend”, the lad has carved quite an impressive niche in the Entertainment domain.
The original version of “Hey There Delilah” was first penned down by Tom Higgenson. He was madly in love with his Columbia University friend, Delilah DiCrescenzo. But, she was already in a relationship and was not interested with Tom. Tom elicited his emotion in the song. His song rocked but, then, DaiMons poured in his innovative ideas and gave a complete new meaning to the song.
In the remix, version, DaiMons says that the girl is no more in love with Tom, but with DaiMons. “I am about to make sure that you have ball in the New York city”, “Shine as bright as You”, “i'm hotta” - the addition of the new lines by DaiMons takes the crowd by storm.
Tom Higgenson’s “Hey there Delilah” was the numero uno on billborad's hot digital and Billboard Pop 100. Between 3rd, 2007 and 22nd July, 2007, the song was the number one most downloaded, number one song in the U.S. At first, the song remained at the 16th position on the US Billborad, but then every week the song climbed steadily one position and made it to the first position. Hence, the song made a record for staying in the top 100 in this pattern, in 21 years!
It really needs, wit and guts to remix such a song and Danse Daimons has it all to give a new dimension to such songs. His creative touch and rapping ability has worked magic again.
